Luxurious Adirondack Lodging for Your Next Romantic Getaway

The Adirondacks have been a popular destination for romantic getaways and wellness retreats; historians often refer to it as where the idea of a “vacation” was first invented in the late 1800s. Back then, it was more about camping and roughing it in the wilderness, but today our focus is much more on luxurious accommodations and pampering.

Here are five reasons to make our Adirondack lodging your next destination:

  1. Our Inn is in the ideal Upstate New York location for a quick or leisurely getaway. We’re about four hours from the major metropolitan areas of New York City and Boston, MA, and we’re also just about two hours from Syracuse, NY, and a little over an hour from Albany, NY. And it doesn’t hurt that these will be some of the most scenic drives!
  2. You’ll step from your vehicle and breathe the freshest air the minute you arrive. Our hospitality professionals will welcome you with open arms and ensure you’re checked in, comfortable, and settled into your guest room.
  3. Our 18 guest room accommodations at our Adirondack Lodging are second to none! From spacious king suites and luxurious Lake Rooms to our cozy Bird Rooms and private cabin, there’s an excellent choice for any vacation style at Friends Lake Inn.
  4. Not all Adirondack lodging prosperities offer the extensive dining options that you’ll find at our Inn. All menus offer a farm-to-table experience, but the setting is up to you. The Birch Bistro provides a laid-back, casual atmosphere, while our Main Dining Room exudes a historical elegance ideal for intimate and romantic meals.
  5. As a guest at our Adirondack lodging, nature is all around you! You don’t have to go far to find some of the best hiking opportunities, days on the lake, or nearby popular attractions.
